Privacy Policy

What happens to the data that reaches us through this website, and what you can ask of us.

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This privacy policy explains how Riverbend Lens Collective (zenithra.org) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, the privacy law of our province, and collect only what is needed to run the site and answer

Who is responsible

Riverbend Lens Collective, located at 418 Riverside Drive West, Windsor, ON N9A 5K2, Canada, is responsible for the processing of personal data described here, on every page of zenithra.org and in the correspondence that follows from it. Questions about this notice can be sent to [email protected] or put to us on (519) 815-9941.

Storage periods

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as statutory retention periods require. After that it is deleted or the reference to a person is removed.

Server logs are held by our hosting provider for a short period and are then removed automatically. Correspondence stays with us while the matter is open and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to the same question.

Data security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold against loss, manipulation and access by unauthorized people. The connection to this website is encrypted where your browser supports it.

No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot exclude every risk. Within our company, access to the messages we receive is limited to the people who answer them.

Your privacy rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask for it to be corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You may withdraw your consent to its use at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

You can use your rights by writing to [email protected]. Before we answer, we may ask for a detail that confirms your identity, so that data is not disclosed to the wrong person; the answer follows within the period the law provides and costs you nothing.

Besides contacting us, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the privacy commissioner of your province where provincial law applies.

Cookies

This website keeps stored entries to a minimum. It does not use advertising cookies, it does not follow visitors across other sites, and an answer you give to a cookie notice stays in your own browser.

Your browser lets you review what is kept for this website, erase it and prevent it from being stored again. If you block entries that the site needs in order to function, some pages may not display correctly.

Purposes and consent

The information described here serves a limited set of purposes: running zenithra.org without faults, answering your questions, preparing offers or agreements and meeting the duties that come with running a business.

We collect, use and disclose personal information only with your consent, unless the law permits or requires otherwise. When you write to us, your consent to the use of your details for a reply is implied; before using them for any other purpose we ask you first. Without the details we ask for, we may be unable to reply.

Which data we process

When you open a page, our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, the requested page, the date and time, the browser type and the referring page. These server logs help us keep the site secure and are deleted after a short period.

When you send us a message, we keep what you give us, such as your name, the address for our reply, a telephone number if you add one and the text itself, for as long as the matter you wrote about is being dealt with.

Sharing of data

Personal data is never traded. Access is limited to the technical service providers that run our hosting and mail systems, who process data on our behalf under a written contract, and to public bodies where disclosure is required.

Data may be handled by a provider whose servers or support staff are located abroad. We choose providers who commit to protecting it at the level the applicable rules demand for transfers of this kind.

Amendments to this notice

We revise this notice whenever the way we handle data changes. The current wording is always published here, and the date at the top tells you when it was last updated.

The text on this page replaces earlier versions, and no separate announcement is sent when it changes. If an amendment affects processing that is based on your consent, we obtain new consent before relying on it.
